To the people of @_archestratus_ who buy all of my (figuratively and sometimes literally) half baked recipe tests, thank you. It is a vulnerable way to bake, to not have time or money to test properly but to still want to try and share something new. Was the brioche is too lemony, did the muffin need more salt, I ran out of buttermilk, did I use too much cinnamon? but i sent them out anyway and crossed my fingers and made notes about the million things i would do differently for the next time. I would probably make a lot more money/have an easier time/not have a panic attack every Saturday morning at 11am if I sold the same thing every week and streamlined all my ordering and prep, but this isn’t about that is it???
